The PD4-XA1 is PRODRONE's latest commercial drone platform that can be used in various situations such as search and rescue, inspection, and security.
A versatile zoom camera is laid out on the front of the airframe to provide a wide field of view in front of and below the drone.
Depending on the task required of the drone, you can also select a payload other than the zoom camera. It is small enough to be carried with one hand. Easy battery replacement to support long, continuous missions.

20x Optical Zoom Camera

A 20x optical zoom camera (SONY module) is fitted as standard equipment on a gimbal with strong vibration protection to prevent blurring even at maximum zoom.
You can switch the camera to a DSLR for photogrammetry.
Optimizing camera angle for each case: ceiling (above), piers (above, front), surveying (front, down) is an advantage for infrastructure inspections such as structural inspections, as it allows you to shoot bridge ceilings and structures, which were previously considered unsuitable for drones.

Versatile Payload Capability

You can selected the payloads to fit your needs.

- Gimbals for general-purpose cameras (compatible with cameras weighing around 1kg including lens*)
- Zoom gimbal camera
- Dual-lens gimbal camera (zoom camera + infrared camera), LED, buzzer, etc.

Each unit is interchangeable as an attachment type unit and can be used for a wide range of applications.
The change in the center of gravity, which is an issue when changing the load, can be compensated easily.
An optional LED searchlight and buzzer are also available. The LED light is linked to the camera's tilt, allowing you to shoot at night.

Intelligent Functions

A high performance companion computer is equipped as standard for missions that require advanced autonomous control.
Drone control and video distribution via LTE are possible, allowing for future operations and functional expansion.
Collision avoidance based on the image analysis of the forward stereo camera.

Handy Compact Design

The airframe can be deployed and retracted by simple locking levers, and is less than 30cm wide when folded.
Hot-swappable batteries can be replaced while the power is still on, ensuring long operation.

The handle on top of the aircraft was developed in response to the needs of the professionals.
It is easy to handle with one hand and has excellent maneuverability for search&rescue missions where rapid operation is required.
A robust case (IP67) is also available as an option.

For Long Operation

The optional tethering power supply unit enables long flight operations. Ideal for long hours of operation such as fixed point observation and security.


The PD-GCS meets the demand for highly professional, advanced auto- flight.
You can easily create a wide variety of automated flight plans for each use case and easily specify actions for each waypoint such as changing shooting parameters (Fstop, ISO, WB), PTZ, shutter control, etc.
Also, emergency landing sites (Rally Points) can be set up in advance.
