PRODRONE Develops the “Water Lander”

Nagoya-JAPAN, May 1, 2018- PRODRONE is thrilled to announce it has developed the PD4-AW-AQ is an all-weather type, Water Lander. PRODRONE showcases the new model at its booth at Xponential 2018, to be held May 1-3, 2018 in Denver.

PD4-AW-AQ is an all-weather type, and is capable of adaptive to any place, even the air or in water. The weight of the airframe is 10 lb, and maximum payload is 8 lb. It can fly to water surfaces far away, and transmit visions of the underwater.

The PD4-AW-AQ can allow us to capture under water footages with full autopilot capability by the attached GoPro HERO5. You can set as many waypoints on the river or the ocean where the PD4-AW-AQ takes footages by our sophisticated autopilot.

The float is installed in the four directions of PD4-AW-AQ, even if an accident occurs during the dam inspection or the flight on the sea, it will not submerge and maintains balance. It is also strong against rainy weather because it is a highly waterproof aircraft, and it is also ideal for security everyday surveillance.
