Prodrone Develops the Night Surveyor Drone

Prodrone is proud to announce it has developed the PD8-AW-HS, a night surveyor dron. Prodrone showcases the new model at its booth at InterDrone 2017, to be held September 6-8, 2017 in Las Vegas.

The PD8-AW-HS is a drone that comes equipped with an ultra-light-sensitive camera made by Canon. It can send live clear images back to the operator, even when the only source of light is the moon.

This feature enables the PD8-AW-HS to perform in such dangerous situations as night-time search and rescue operations, to provide night-time surveillance, to do inspections in dark places, and more.

In the event of a disaster, most drones would have great difficulty searching after sunset, but with the PD8-AW-HS and its ultra-light-sensitive camera from Canon, it is now easy to find survivors in the dark.

Mountainous regions have low visibility at night, and are full of trees, rocks, and all kinds of nature’s obstacles. Normally, it would be extremely difficult to conduct a search with a drone in such conditions. However, since the PD8-AW-HS is more than capable of operation at night, it provides the perfect platform for night-time rescues, security and inspections.
