Selected as a Finalist in the Aichi-Austin Innovation Kick-Start Program
PRODRONE Set Up a New R&D Center in Fukushima Robot Test Field
Prodrone Co., Ltd. has announced that it is selected as one of the finalists in the Aichi-Austin Innovation Kick-start Program supported by The University of Texas at Austin and Aichi Prefecture. We have been acclaimed for the accumulated technologies that we have cultivated over the years and the innovative efforts that we have created specially designed platform such as SUKUU (passenger drone), DRORIA (arm drone), and PD6-CI-L (surface-clinging inspection drone).
The program will offer us individualized support until the end of December 2019; for example, to arrange for a meeting with officials in South by Southwest, to search business partners or investors using their network within or outside the United States and form partnership with them, or to refine our businesses or proposals. We strive to develop further business opportunity with companies outside Japan.
This program is built by The University of Texas at Austin and Aichi Prefecture to form and enrich startup ecosystem. Aichi Prefecture continues to strengthen collaboration with The IC² Institute of The University of Texas at Austin which played a key role in growth in the City of Austin, a world-renowned birthplace of startup ecosystem, aiming for creating and fostering global startup companies and enhancing collaboration among startup support organizations.

The Nation’s First Long-Distance Delivery Experiment by Single Helicopter Drone will start. The agreement has been signed among the cities of Shima, Gamagori and Omaezaki, KDDI and PRODRONE
Hiroki Ito won the 2019 FAI/F3C World Championships for RC Helicopters with PRODRONE’s PDH-02C. The Team Japan also won the cup in Team classification.
