Japan’s First, experiment of 5G drone demonstration for virtual flight in “Bingo Fish Festival”

Nagoya-Japan, November 2018- Prodrone Co., Ltd with Fukuyama City in Hiroshima Prefecture, KDDI, Nakao laboratory of the University of Tokyo, Samsung Electronics and Wonder Vision Techno Laboratory, will conduct a nation’s first demonstration for virtual flight experience at Bingo Fish Festival which will take place in Fukuyama Museum Square on November 3rd, 2018. In this experiment, the drone will send the 4K image to the virtual system via the next generation mobile communication system “5G”.

This experiment will be conducted as part of the 5G comprehensive demonstration experiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and visitors are welcome to experience the virtual flight.
PRODRONE is responsible for this experiment not only for aircraft development and provision but also for flight and camera operation during the event.
