PRODRONE Develops a Long-Distance Delivery Flight Helicopter “DELIX”

Nagoya-JAPAN, May 9, 2017- PRODRONE is thrilled to announce it has developed the PDH-01, a long distance delivery flight helicopter, “DELIX”. PRODRONE showcases the new model at its booth at AUVSI Xponential 2017, to be held May 9-11, 2017 in Dallas.

The PRODRONE PDH-01 single rotor helicopter has been developed from more than 30 years of RC helicopter design experience, and feature a sophisticated Auto Pilot allowing for Auto Take-off and Auto Landing. The PDH-01 features a maximum flight time of 1 hour, a maximum flight distance of more than 60 miles (100kms), with a maximum payload capacity of up to 6.6 lbs. (3kgs).

This gasoline powered platform makes it possible for high-speed transportation. This single rotor helicopter is less influenced by wind than a conventional multi-rotor platform, and can fly in sustained winds of up to 29 MPH.
