Nagoya-Japan, November 15th, 2018 – Prodrone Co., Ltd and KDDI Corporation had a success drone use in mountain rescue support system demonstration at Mt. Fuji. The system utilize the drone apply 4G LTE’s mobile communication network and a location information notification and monitoring service, a high-definition weather forecasting system. This system will be working at real operation in the Mt. Fuji in 2019.
In rescuing a victim during climbing, there are issues such as prolongation of the time required for rescue due to difficulty in grasping the location of distress and field conditions, and unable to rescue due to bad weather. By identifying thier whereabouts, we will check the status of the distress location to improve the speed and efficiency of rescue.
PRODRONE was responsible for this experiment not only for aircraft development and provision but also for flight path adjustment.
