Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the overall electrical system design of drones. Since drones are aircraft, it is necessary to perform optimal board layout and thermal countermeasures within limited space and weight constraints. In addition, noise suppression in a complex electromagnetic environment where multiple sensors, high-output motors, and communication equipment coexist is a unique challenge in drone development and a great opportunity for an engineer to showcase their skills. Specific Responsibilities: ■ System Architecture Design Configuration design of the electrical system that integrates flight controllers, sensors, communication devices, and payloads (such as cameras). ■ Board Design (Circuit Design & Layout) Design of peripheral circuits for various microcontrollers, power supply circuits (DC-DC converters), and interface boards. You will meticulously visualize the combination of various chips and components in your mind and translate them into optimal board design. ■ Power Electronics Selection, evaluation, and thermal design of the power system that handles high currents (LiPo/Li-ion batteries, ESCs, BLDC motors). ■ Noise & EMC Countermeasures Noise suppression and shielding design to suppress the effects of noise generated by high-output motors and other components, thereby maintaining sensor accuracy and stabilizing communication. Prototyping, Evaluation, and Debugging: Real-machine evaluation using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and troubleshooting during field tests.

Requirements

Practical experience in electronic circuit design (analog and digital) for 5 years or more
Design experience using PCB CAD (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, etc.)
Circuit implementation experience using various interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.)
Ability to complete the entire process from component selection to prototyping and evaluation

Nice to have

Experience in developing mobile objects such as drones, robotics, and autonomous vehicles
Knowledge of power electronics (high-current and high-voltage circuits)
Basic knowledge of embedded software (C/C++) (at a level that enables communication with software engineers using a common language)
Experience in enclosure mounting and wiring design considering waterproof, dustproof, and vibration-resistant properties
High intellectual curiosity and a strong willingness to take on the challenge of creating new technologies
Ability to visualize various chip combinations in your head even for a single board and incorporate them into the design
Ability to communicate smoothly in an environment centered around young to mid-level members

Responsibilities

We are looking for a business developer to join our drone development company. You will be responsible for the entire process, from planning and launching new projects to proposing them to clients and managing project progress. <Specific Job Duties> ■ Project Planning You will plan new projects that utilize our proprietary drones to solve social issues and expand business possibilities. You will brainstorm plans with clients and government agencies, discuss feasibility with in-house engineers, and shape the overall vision of the project. ■ Client Proposals For example, if a client says, "We grow crops on top of a mountain, but transportation is difficult...", you will propose a solution utilizing drones. You will organize specific use cases and budgets, and plan so that the project can be brought to fruition. You will have about three client meetings a day. The idea is to tailor your approach to the client's needs and gradually expand the project step-by-step. ■ Progress Management Once the project is launched, you will act as a project manager, serving as a bridge between the clients and our in-house development team to manage progress and handle coordination. You will manage the overall progress, including meetings to flesh out the specifics for implementation and managing deadlines. <Examples of Drone-utilizing Projects> ◎ At the request of local governments, we provided logistics drones to deliver daily necessities and medicines to mountainous areas and remote islands. ◎ At the request of railway companies, we provided drones to inspect tracks and overhead lines and quickly confirm disaster recovery. ◎ At the request of surveying companies, we provided drones that can significantly reduce surveying time compared to manual labor.

Document Screening

An interview with executives and the president (in person, about 1 to 2 hours). A practical skills test may be conducted if needed.
