Cooperating with JTEKT in developing domestic flight controllers

Prodrone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Shunsuke Totani, hereinafter referred to as “Prodrone”) will cooperate with JTEKT Corporation (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Sadato Kondo, hereinafter referred to as “JTEKT”) in the development of a “flight controller”.

Prodrone and JTEKT began technical cooperation in February 2023 and have been working to develop high-performance industrial drones that can contribute to solving social issues. Since Prodrone received investment from JTEKT in April of the same year, we have further deepened our cooperative relationship.

In addition to our previous efforts, by cooperating with JTEKT's development of flight controllers, we aim to further contribute to improving the performance of drones in line with social needs, and are proceeding with the development and verification of attitude control systems through continuous flight tests and various element tests. We will continue to work towards mass production and sales of flight controllers with the aim of contributing to the drone industry and society.
