Prodrone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Shunsuke Toya) is pleased to announce that its application for Type 1 certification was accepted by the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on November 10, 2023. The aircraft that has applied for type certification is the "Prodrone Type PD6B-CAT3", which is an improved model with improved safety features based on the PD6B, which has a proven track record in material transportation and surveying applications, and will be manufactured by JAL Engineering Co., Ltd. (location: Ota-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Ryo Tamura).
