Air Self-Defense Force Executive School holds a study session on drones

PRODRONE Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as PRODRONE) held a study session on July 14th for students of the Air Self-Defense Force Executive Academy on the latest information on the drone industry and laws and regulations related to drones. 19 students from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force Executive Academy visited Prodrone as part of a curriculum to learn about the initiatives of cutting-edge companies. Representative Director and President Totani introduced the current state of the drone industry, recent specific drone cases in Japan and overseas, and the contents of demonstration experiments, and PRODRONE personnel explained the latest revisions to aviation laws such as the drone registration system, related laws, and regional points to keep in mind. We explained matters that will be helpful for the safety of the public. We received the following comments from the participants.

Through this course, I was able to learn about the efforts of Japanese private companies and public-private collaboration projects, especially the efforts toward level 4 autonomous driving certification, the prospects for the future fusion of drones and ground autonomous driving, and the cutting-edge situation surrounding drones. I was also able to learn about drone-related laws, regional characteristics, and issues, which was very helpful. I would like to use this training as a reference in my work towards building a good security environment both domestically and internationally.
