Aichi Model 2030 that connects the sky and the road ~ “Flying light truck” project takes off! ~

PRODRONE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and Representative Director: Shunsuke Totani, hereinafter referred to as PRODRONE) is promoted by Aichi Prefecture. “Innovative business creation proposal platform (A-idea)*” , we proposed the ``Aichi Mobility Innovation Project: Aichi Model 2030 Connecting Sky and Roads'' (hereinafter referred to as the "Project"), which was adopted as the first A-idea. This project aims to create a disaster-resilient mobility society by 2030, where the sky and roads are seamlessly connected, and where drones, flying cars, and self-driving vehicles are simultaneously safely controlled as one transportation environment. PRODRONE will advance the development of a "flying light truck" drone through public-private collaboration by 2025. "Flying light truck" is a cargo drone that can fly 50km with a load of 50kg. During normal times, we contribute to local issues in mountainous areas and remote islands by delivering pharmaceuticals, and during disasters, we contribute to disaster mitigation by transporting relief supplies to isolated villages.
