Prodrone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Shunsuke Totani) has begun selling the PD4B-M, a drone suitable for small laser surveying equipment. The maximum payload is 10 kg compared to the flagship model PD6B which boasts a maximum payload of 30 kg. Assumed (small laser surveying machine), when loaded with 5kg, it is possible to fly for 30 minutes (when using 22000mhA x 2). It has a closed body with excellent aerodynamic properties, making it both windproof and waterproof. While ensuring safety performance, we have reduced the number of electronic devices and achieved a price that is easy to install. This model was designed to be easy to use as a surveying drone through repeated test flights by our development team, including our surveying engineers and our CTO Kiyoichi Sugaki. The distance between the axes is 130 to 150 mm, and the surveying instrument can be fixed with a 12 mm pipe. This aircraft is equipped with flight controller A3 (can be changed to our FC-1 or Pixfork as an option). In the future, we will also sell models for logistics.
