Kobe Toyopet and PRODRONE exhibit new forms of disaster infrastructure

Kobe Toyopet Co., Ltd. and Prodrone Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting at the "International Frontier Industry Messe 2022" to be held at the Kobe International Exhibition Center from Thursday, September 1st to Friday, September 2nd. This year's "International Frontier Industrial Messe 2022" will have approximately 500 booths with the main theme of "Opening up the future, moving the future." In addition, the ``1st Drone Summit'' (sponsored by the Cabinet Secretariat and Hyogo Prefecture), the first of its kind in Japan, will also be held at the same time, making it an event where you can see a wide variety of drones. At the Kobe Toyopet booth (A-11), we will be exhibiting the fuel cell vehicle Toyota MIRAI and Prodrone's wired power supply drone. Kobe Toyopet is placing particular emphasis on disaster prevention, and has entered into agreements with local governments to supply power from vehicles capable of supplying power in the event of a disaster.We are working to secure vehicles equipped with power supply capabilities, such as hybrid and plug-in hybrid test drives such as the Prius, which are available at stores throughout the prefecture, and are working to provide 1500W of electricity in the event of a disaster. At this exhibition, we will introduce an initiative that combines these efforts with a wired power supply drone to function as a mobile base station. During normal times, we handle drone logistics to hilly and mountainous areas in line with the Digital Garden City concept, while in times of disaster we propose a new form of disaster infrastructure as a base station drone.
