On Friday, August 6, 2021, Prodrone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Shunsuke Toya) invited Sayuri Oka to hold an "SDGs Workshop" as an in-house training session. PRODRONE is actively working on SDGs with a focus on drones, work styles, and relationships with local communities. This workshop aimed not only to understand the SDGs and deepen awareness of how to contribute to a sustainable society and co-creative ways of working in the future, but also to utilize the SDGs as a means of creating new value. On the day of the event, participants divided into groups to consider and discuss new business possibilities, referring to examples of companies around the world that are creating new businesses based on the SDGs. Many ideas that could lead to new businesses were presented from a wide range of fields such as leisure, sports, beauty, and health, and we were reminded that the SDGs are not an obligation, but a tool for advancing. In the future, PRODRONE will continue to work on the SDGs so that we can use drones to solve social issues, provide an attractive internal environment, and contribute to local communities.
