Exchanged opinions with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism toward type certification assuming Level 4

On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at the PRODRONE headquarters, the Director of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Chiba and other staff members exchanged opinions on environmental preparation, technology development, and preparations for type certification for "unmanned aircraft flights over third parties beyond visual line of sight in manned areas (Level 4)." Mr. Hideki Chiba, director of the Aircraft Technology Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Mr. Naoya Michii, and Mr. Keisuke Shinohara, who are in charge of aircraft examination, visited PRODRONE. First, President Totani explained the aircraft development schedule for PRODRONE's Level 4, followed by a tour of the company's actual aircraft design and aircraft manufacturing sites, and technical staff provided individual support in front of each aircraft. In order to develop drones that contribute to solving social issues and become the "drone-based society" that PRODRONE aims for, manufacturing a Level 4 aircraft is an absolute prerequisite. PRODRONE will continue to work together with the public and private sectors to promote the social implementation of drones.
