Developed tap flight water landing drone “PD4-AW-AQ”

This machine will be exhibited at "Xponential 2018," the world's largest UAV exhibition, to be held in Denver, USA from May 1st to May 3rd, 2018 (local time). "PD4-AW-AQ" is a new type of waterproof drone for underwater photography that can automatically touch down and land on the water by tap flight. GoPro HERO5 is installed on PRODRONE's medium-sized basic model PD4-AW2 Basic, and tap flight is possible with the original flight controller PD-FC1. Underwater images from the aircraft are displayed on a nearby monitor using a transmission device, and can be used for both underwater and aerial photography, expanding the range of photography possible. Various automatic flights are also possible using tap flight, making it easy for anyone to fly. The four rotor arms of this machine are stored inside the main body during transportation, making it highly portable. Furthermore, since floats are attached to the four sides of the drone, even in the unlikely event of a crash during dam inspections or offshore flights, the drone will not be submerged in water and will be able to maintain its balance while floating in the water. Additionally, the aircraft is highly waterproof, making it resistant to flying in the rain, making it ideal for 365-day security monitoring.
