Presented at the “2nd Wind and Flow Platform Symposium”

On Monday, January 22, 2018, at the "2nd Wind and Flow Platform Symposium" (sponsored by the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology) at Akiba Hall in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, our company's R&D Headquarters Technology Supervisor and Executive Vice President Sugaki took the stage at the panel discussion "Future Society Created by Drones." The 2nd Wind and Flow Platform Symposium is a symposium that introduces advanced initiatives with the theme of ``cooperation between wind tunnel experiments and fluid simulation.'' Among them, a panel discussion was held entitled ``Future Society Created by Drones,'' which are increasingly being used in a variety of situations.The discussion started with Mr. Kenya Harada (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) as the moderator, Mr. Kazunori Takahashi (Enroute Co., Ltd.), Mr. Satoshi Washiya (Autonomous Control Systems Research Institute, Inc.), Mr. Kazunori Ohno (Tohoku University), and our company Sugaki as panelists. After introducing each company's efforts, a multifaceted discussion took place about how wind flow affects drone design and the direction of future research.
