Release of two basic industrial drone platforms equipped with all-weather and autonomous flight functions

PRODRONE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Masakazu Kono, hereinafter referred to as PRODRONE) will release two models in November 2017, a small and lightweight 4-blade model "PD4-AW2 BASIC" and a medium-sized 6-blade model "PD6-AW2 BASIC" as a basic platform for high-quality, highly functional, and highly stable industrial drones that can be freely customized according to business purposes.

"PD4-AW2 BASIC" and "PD6-AW2 BASIC" are basic platforms for industrial drones equipped with all-weather and autonomous flight functions intended for use by drone service providers. Based on this machine, we also flexibly respond to customization that adds optimal functions to match the customer's business content. The selling price is 1,674,000 yen (tax included) for the small and lightweight 4-disc machine "PD4-AW2 BASIC" and 2,484,000 yen (tax included) for the medium-sized 6-disc machine "PD6-AW2 BASIC". Customization costs will be quoted separately. This machine can be purchased directly from the PRODRONE website as well as from authorized dealers that handle PRODRONE products.

• Automatically flies along high voltage lines to check for frayed cables, etc. (PD6-AW2 only)
• Equipped with a camera gimbal and photogrammetry using autoflight (PD6-AW2 only)
