Implemented third-party allotment capital increase to fund managed by Central Japan Innovation Capital - Accelerating regional collaboration with academia -

Prodrone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Shunsuke Totani, hereinafter referred to as "Prodrone") has conducted a third-party allotment of new capital to Tokai Research and Development No. 1 Investment Limited Partnership, a fund managed by Central Japan Innovation Capital Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director: Kazuya Takeda, hereinafter referred to as "CJIC"). CJIC has a capital relationship with Tokai National University Organization, which operates Nagoya University and Gifu University, and Prodrone will accelerate regional collaboration with academia through investment from this fund. Based on our vision of "becoming the most trusted drone company in the region," we will deepen our cooperation with Nagoya University, a core university in the Tokai region, and connect the university's knowledge to social implementation, thereby increasing our technological competitiveness in the development of next-generation drones. In 2025, Nagoya University collaborated with Aichi Prefecture, Nishio City, and others to demonstrate a "three-dimensional transportation system" that combines logistics drones and self-driving cars on Saku Island (Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture) as part of the "Aichi Mobility Innovation Project", a public-private joint project with Aichi Prefecture, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Smart Island Promotion Demonstration Survey. We aim to expand this model to remote islands both domestically and overseas in the future. In addition to this project, we will continue to work toward the fusion of university-originated Deep Tech and Prodrone's drone technology. Additionally, as part of our overseas collaborations, we are promoting global personnel exchanges, such as accepting interns from the National University of Singapore (NUS) for two consecutive years through the mediation of Nagoya University.
