Regarding training participation in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Chubu Area Army “07 Nankai Rescue”

Prodrone Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Shunsuke Totani; hereinafter referred to as "Prodrone") participated in the field training "07 Nankai Rescue" conducted by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Chubu Army on Friday, January 23rd and Saturday, January 24th, 2026, based on a request to participate in the training from the Japan UAS Industry Promotion Association (JUIDA). This training simulates the occurrence of a Nankai Trough earthquake, and aims to confirm coordination procedures such as searching inside collapsed houses, gathering information in isolated areas, and transporting relief supplies to stranded people. As a member of JUIDA's disaster response unit "JUIDA-D³", Prodrone conducted training at the Shindayama Training Range in Shima City, Toba City, Mie Prefecture, and Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture.■ Training implementation overview and resultsAt each location, we conducted training and verification using actual equipment as described below. (1) Shima City, Mie Prefecture (10th Division training site) Equipment used: PD4B-M Implementation details: Performed ortho-imaging (creating two-dimensional images) of areas expected to be damaged by a tsunami. We confirmed the effectiveness of grasping the damage situation over a wide area in the event of a disaster.

(2) Toba City, Mie Prefecture (10th Division Training Point) Equipment used: PD6B-Type3 Implementation details: Transported goods 6km round trip in an environment with a maximum instantaneous ground wind speed of 10m/s. We verified the stability of long-distance transportation under strong winds.

(3) Shindayama Training Range (Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, 3rd Division Training Site) Specifications Aircraft: PD4B-M Implementation details: Based on information on stranded persons collected by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and other drone manufacturers, multiple supplies were transported under conditions of a maximum instantaneous ground wind speed of 8 m/s. We confirmed the rapid supply drop procedure based on information coordination with related organizations.
